Hann Foundation Inc. Partners with Holy Rosary Parish Church for Restoration Project
Hann Foundation Inc. (HFI), the corporate social responsibility arm of Hann Philippines Inc., is happy to partner with the Holy Rosary Parish Church (HRP) of Angeles City to launch a collaborative restoration project. This initiative aims to repair the structural damage brought by the April 2019 earthquake and create a new legacy for future generations.
Established in 1877, the Holy Rosary Parish Church, colloquially known as Pisamban Maragul, stands as a beacon of hope and a symbol of cultural and historical significance in Angeles City. Its enduring presence has profoundly shaped the lives of the Kapampangan community, making it a vital landmark in Pampanga. Guided by its commitment to cultural heritage, Hann Foundation recognizes the opportunity to support the community by restoring this iconic church, which plays a central role in defining local culture.
The formalization of this partnership was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement at the Pampanga Press Club’s media forum, KapiHANN, held at Swissotel Clark. The agreement was executed by HFI’s Executive Director, Ana Christi Galura, and HRP representative, Hilana Timbol Roman. They were joined by HFI General Manager Ronnel Golimlim and HRP Architect Isaiah Jericho Carreon as witnesses. The restoration project will focus on four key areas of the church: the Chapel of Devotion, the Baptistry, the Confessionals, and the Narthex Gallery of Saints. Hann Foundation Inc. has committed a ₱5 million support to make this possible.
Executive Director Galura stated, “This partnership with Holy Rosary Parish is just one way for us to elevate experiences of the communities where Hann Resorts operate.”
Ms. Timbol added, “It is more than a structure, it represents the entire lives of the whole parish community. More than history or culture, Holy Parish Rosary is a beacon of hope for everyone.”
“We are happy and proud to be a part of this meaningful restoration project, a significant contribution to the history of Holy Rosary Parish in the making,” declared HFI General Manager Ronnel Golimlim.
Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization that serves as the corporate social responsibility and social development arm of Hann Philippines, Inc. and its integrated resort businesses under the Hann Resorts brand. It was established in 2016 to institutionalize the groups’ initiatives that are focused on health, environment, education, cultural heritage, and community development, primarily in its communities of operation in Central Luzon.
