Angeles City, Philippines – January 31, 2025 – Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI), is the corporate social responsibility arm of Hann Philippines, Inc., the developer of Hann Resorts in Clark, Pampanga. Since its rebranding from Widus Foundation to Hann Foundation in December 2022, it has strongly established its commitment to five (5) meaningful pillars of advocacy for Health, Environment, Education, Cultural Heritage, and Community Development for Pampanga and Tarlac provinces where Hann Philippines’ operates.
Specific to cultural business, Hann Foundation is involved in the restoration of the Holy Rosary Parish Church (HRP). HRP was built between 1877 and 1909, a significant landmark for the Kapampangan faithful, suffered damage in the 2019 earthquake, demanding a year-long closure for repairs. It faced structural challenges, including damage to pillars, window frames, walls, and ceilings. The parish leadership launched a fundraising campaign to address these issues, demonstrating the community’s commitment to preserving this cherished landmark.
Recognizing the church’s vital role in the community’s cultural heritage and spiritual life, HFI stepped forward to support its revitalization with a ₱5 million contribution. A formal Memorandum of Agreement was signed in September 2024 at Hann Resorts’ Swissotel Clark during a KapiHANN forum of the Pampanga Press Club.
The culmination of these efforts was celebrated on January 31, 2025, with an official turnover ceremony at the newly restored church. Distinguished guests, including church officials and HFI representatives, attended the event, which featured speeches highlighting the project’s significance.
The restoration focused on four key areas of the church: the Chapel of Devotion, the Baptistry, the Confessionals, and the Narthex Gallery of Saints. Each space was carefully renovated to enhance its functionality and aesthetic appeal, ensuring a more enriching experience for parishioners. The Chapel of Devotion now offers improved accessibility to the revered image of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.The Baptistry has been transformed into a more dignified and welcoming space for the sacrament of baptism.
The Confessionals were meticulously restored, preserving their historical integrity while continuing to provide a sacred space for reconciliation.
Finally, the Narthex Gallery of Saints stands as a testament to the enduring history of the Christian faith.
Father Jhon Paul C. Morales the Parochial Vicar of Pisamban Maragul expressed his gratitude, stating, “On behalf of the Holy Rosary Parish community, I extend our gratitude to Hann Foundation their generous support. These contributions are not merely financial; they represent a commitment to preserving the heart of our parish church. Our parish stands as a testament to the resilience and faith of the Kapampangans. By supporting its restoration, HFI is ensuring that this vital piece of our history remains a source of inspiration and community for generations to come.”
Mrs. Hilana Roman, Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) President of the Holy Rosary Parish also mentioned that “We are grateful to Hann Foundation for choosing us as partner in restoring the significant areas of the Holy Rosary Parish Church. We are glad that your foundation is also investing in cultural heritage.”

The Pisamban Maragul is not just a structure, it is a beacon of hope for the community. We thank Holy Rosary Parish for trusting us and giving us the opportunity to be their partner in this endeavor. It is an honor to be able to serve our beloved Cabalen”.
By supporting the restoration of Pisamban Maragul, Hann Foundation is not only preserving a physical structure, but also contributing to the continuity of cultural traditions, reinforcing community pride, and promoting a deeper appreciation for local history.
Additionally, HFI announced the Turnover Ceremony of the Museo Ning Angeles ‘CULINARIUM’ on Thursday, February 13th, 2025. This milestone project signifies the Foundation’s dedication to preserving and celebrating Angeles City’s rich culinary heritage. The Museo Ning Angeles ‘CULINARIUM’ will serve as a valuable community resource, offering a space for education, appreciation, and the continuation of local culinary traditions.
